We've been open for a week – not at full capacity, but with lots of heart, dedication, and plenty of honest moments. We just wanted to get started: testing machines, establishing processes, seeing how our concept feels when real people walk through the door.
And what can we say: It's intense. Beautiful and challenging at the same time. A restaurant opening sometimes feels like a ride on a razor's edge – feelings of happiness alternate with overload. But that's exactly what makes it so alive.
Four events in seven days – that wasn't actually planned.
Seminar in the play area, a cultural evening with a children's book presentation, music school on stage, wrestlers in conversation – and in between: everyday magic. Three children with ice cream in the sidewalk café. Laughter that lingers. That is the Herzstück as we dreamed it would be.
Of course, not everything is running smoothly. The new ice cream display case is acting up, the electricity contracts are testing our nerves, and yes – we are tired. But we are sticking with it. With ideas, with team spirit, and with your help.
Culinary-wise?
Breakfast whenever you want. Tapas to share, combine, and enjoy – from egg dishes to hummus, from salmon trout to granola. Coffee from the Zwickels in Pachfurth. With attitude, flavor, and history.
And otherwise?
More coziness is in the works. More toys for children. Better acoustics. Grab bars in the restroom. Soon a newsstand, too. Your feedback helps us – we are listening and making changes.
