Weingut Artner – Family, finesse and Rubin Carnuntum

The Artner winery in Höflein is a family business that shows how the future is created from tradition. Here, several generations work hand in hand – in the vineyard, in the cellar and in the restaurant. Because the family includes not only the winery, but also a restaurant in Vienna, where their own wines find the perfect place on the menu.

The winery is particularly well known for the Rubin Carnuntum – a regional specialty that feels authentic in hardly any other glass as it does at the Artners'. The Rubin Carnuntum is a varietal Zweigelt that combines fruit, spice and elegance and has become the figurehead of the entire region. In the Artner family's cellar, it matures with care and sensitivity before it ends up in the glass – strong enough for long evenings, yet always harmonious and fine.

The Artners stand for a classic interpretation of Carnuntum wines: red wines with character, depth and structure that at the same time radiate drinking pleasure. In recent years, however, they have also proven that they can set modern accents – be it with fresh white wines or elegant cuvées.

At the Wine Tasting Friday at the heart (Herzstück), the Artners tell their story – from the vines in Höflein to the glass in Bruck. And they show why the interplay of family, experience and passion is the key to wines you won't forget.

Why the Artner winery belongs in the Herzstück
